Import of products from CSV file for price monitoring

Using .csv files (comma separated files) is possible to import products directly into the price monitoring.

CSV Import Process

Log in to your price monitoring and go to 'CSV Import'

Here you must have a comma-separated file ready, the one that must contain at least Product no. (ID/SKU), Title and Price - other possible fields are: Cost price, Previous price, GTIN/Barcode, Brand, Category, In stock.

You press 'Select file' - and find the file on your computer.

Also select what's inside your file - products or competitors.

You then press 'Upload' and you will see an overview of what your file contains, and must now select the correct column headings for it.

Note that if your first column has headings, you must mark it to be ignored.

You must then select the correct columns - see the example below:

Remember that Product no. (ID/SKU), Title and Price are required. If you have other columns in your file that are not to be used, you just skip them.

In the example above, SKU, Title, Price, In stock  have been specified and 2 columns have been skipped.

When you have set the correct columns, press 'Import xx lines' - and the import starts.

Using Import for Updates

The import feature can also be used to update existing products in the system. For instance, if you want to add barcodes to your products for price monitoring, import a file containing the Product number (ID/SKU), Title, Price, and Barcode. This will update the products that are already in the system.
